The Community Action Organization of WNY Block Club Development Program offers BlockClubs, Neighborhood Organizations, and Residents various support services and resources such as; the creation of coalitions of partners consisting of NFPs, CBOS, and other institutions, to help transform the quality of life in targeted neighborhoods; community training and assistance in setting up Neighborhood Watch Groups, Community Land Trusts, and facilitate block club or crime watch meetings, neighborhood revitalization activities, and other community-based workshops. We also provide access to services such as help with the creation of by-laws, newsletters, flyers, agendas, and grant applications. We provide employment and training services, as well as nutritious food support services. These groups act as an anchor to stabilize and unite neighborhoods in a committed relationship with neighbors to reduce crime and increase safety and beautification in the community.
