Therese M. Vita has over 30 years of experience in relationship-based professions, including sales, marketing, financial services, and law. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Le Moyne College and completed her Juris Doctorate in 1988 at Albany Law School. Vita began her career in law and transitioned to the wealth management and finance sector in 2002. Currently, she is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America Private Bank, and has expertise in financial, trust and estate and legacy planning, commercial and residential real estate law, and wealth management. Vita is a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional (CFP®), a designation administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., since 2004. She also earned her Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation in 2020, through the Exit Planning Institute.

Vita serves on the LeMoyne College Board of Regents and the Board of the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. She is a former board member of the Western New York Women’s Foundation (WNYWF), Estate Analysts of Western New York, and the Buffalo Rotary Foundation. She still does committee work for the WNYWF and the Rotary Club of Buffalo. She sings with the St. Joseph’s Cathedral Choir. In 2016, the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of NYS Women, Inc. awarded Vita with their Women in Leadership Award. In 2013, she received the Business First Woman of Influence Community Supporter Award. This year, she will be among the Power 150 Women recognized by Business First.
