Ageless Wonders Project

About Ageless Wonders

Ageless Wonders is the Senior Program at CAO of WNY, designed to celebrate, support, and empower the inspiring older generation in our community. Through art workshops, social engagement, and wellness-focused activities, we foster connection, creativity, and a renewed sense of purpose for seniors across Buffalo and Western New York. In 2024, we launched a multimedia project featuring the remarkable individuals in our program through film, photography, and podcasts. We invite you to support Ageless Wonders, helping us sustain this valuable initiative and continue uplifting our seniors.

Ageless Wonders Documentary

"Ageless Wonders" is a documentary set in Buffalo, NY, where elderly individuals from the Black community participate in Vicente Rondon's negative photography workshop as part of the Senior Program at CAO of WNY. Beyond mastering the art of capturing and printing large-format photographs, participants engage in profound dialogues with Rondon about life, memory, and the past, resulting in evocative portraits. The documentary is now publicly available and can be viewed below, alongside several promotional videos:

In collaboration with local photographers and our in-house creative team, we’re thrilled to introduce the second edition of our Ageless Wonders photography book, featuring stunning new portraits that celebrate our seniors’ vibrant lives. Currently in its second printing, this project is seeking sponsors to bring it to life. By sponsoring, you or your company can gain recognition in the book while directly supporting CAO of WNY’s charitable initiatives.
