Christa Fisher

This month, we're shining the spotlight on an exceptional member of our team who has not only witnessed the transformative power of CAO of WNY but has been an integral part of its journey - Christa Fisher.
Christa's story is a testament to resilience and determination. As a young mom at the age of 16, she faced challenges that could have hindered her educational journey. But CAO was her beacon. At 19, when she enrolled her child in our Head Start program. The organization didn't just see her as another parent, but as someone with potential, dreams, and aspirations.
It's been over 32 years since Christa first became a part of our CAO family. From her humble beginnings, she recently stepped into her new role as a Principal, demonstrating the organization's commitment to growth and empowerment. When asked about her motivation, Christa reminisces about how CAO stood by her, ensuring she didn't stay stagnant. Today, she champions that same commitment, advocating for children and families, just as CAO of WNY advocated for her.
What makes CAO of WNY stand apart? For Christa, it's the family spirit. The way we nurture, respect, and cultivate potential, viewing challenges as growth opportunities rather than setbacks.
Christa's aspirations are rooted in nurturing the children. She believes that if we can understand and empower our children, our community's future will become bright and promising.
Christa’s journey epitomizes CAO of WNY's mission – to champion potential, transform lives, and foster community growth. Let's celebrate the spirit of resilience, empowerment, and change, as exemplified by Christa Fisher.
